The Crystal Mine is the center of the plot of Lunar Lakes. When Sims arrived in the first Lunar Lakes, they found the crystal mine, and used the technology of crystal to help them begin their lives in the new world. The Lunar Lakes you see now is a few generations older than initially.
This is one of my favorite images. It shows the world that we can only wait. The lakes are very geometric, trees are very different, the soil has strange markings. It is a very nice neighborhood. (I honestly can not wait to play!)
